Qa Tester

Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Tester to join our dynamic team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes. This role is crucial in identifying bugs and issues before product release, thus enhancing user satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements.
• Identify, record, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand product features and provide feedback on quality issues.
• Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities work as intended after changes are made.
• Assist in the automation of testing processes to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings.

Skills and Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
