Exyte Malaysia is currently looking for a QA/QC Engineer.
Job Description:
- Liaises with the Project Quality Manager or lead and functional link to the Project Manager;
- Manage the day-to-day Project QC Team activities and co-ordinate with relevant parties to ensure that the Project Pre-Qualification activities are executed on schedule, in a safe and environmental friendly manner and in accordance to Project and Clients Requirements;
- Responsible for co-ordinating with field supervisors and Lead Engineers in relation to Quality related tasks;
- Acts on the ITP approved for the Project and follow up on the Inspection Requirements;
- Reviews of Construction inspection reports, Test Certificates and Dossiers
- Monthly Reporting on Project Quality progress activities to Project Quality Co-ordinator/Quality Manager.
- Reports Quality related Site observation report (SOR), Engineering observation report (EOR), Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) to Project Quality Manager and assist with close out where appropriate;
- Proactively engages on field quality with the objective of doing it right the first time by reducing final punch list (quantities / severities). Assists Senior/Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure all Quality related activities are carried out as scheduled;
- Assists Senior/Quality Assurance Engineer to prepare and review project documents including SOPs etc;
- Prepares and execute internal and surveillance audit system as required;
- Updates and maintain project documentation tracking database/system. (Mock-up, M&E Clearance activities, etc.);
