Overview Of The Position
The QS Engineer is responsible for ensuring product regulatory compliance and maintaining robust Quality Management System (QMS) standards within a global interconnect solutions environment. This role actively drives continuous improvement by conducting rigorous internal and customer audits, managing comprehensive document control processes, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration with R&D, engineering, and QA teams to uphold stringent industry requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Participates in customer audits and internal audits.
- Work with customers, R&D, PE, Sourcing/Buyer, and QA team to ensure the product are compliance to regulatory.
- Work with all internal departments to collaborate to ensure all QMS documents are revision controlled.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, and place strong emphasis on internal audits to ensure full compliance with the QMS.
- Provide training to all BizLinkers on awareness in Document Control.
- Work with all internal departments to review and align the linkage between 3rd & 4th level document to its related 2nd level procedures.
- Fully coordinate the control for all document registration by Doc Con, except Engineering Documents.
- Perform regular internal audits to verify document vs actual practice compliance, referring to regulatory & customer requirements.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Degree in Materials or Electronic/Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent, and demonstrated experience.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the quality or document control field is preferred.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Candidates who are fluent in Mandarin are preferred because the role requires candidates to interact with Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Having a basic understanding of product regulatory requirements (UL, RoHS, REACH, etc.) is preferred.
