Job Description

The QA & Procurement Manager oversees product quality, supplier management, and

production readiness across the product lifecycle. The role ensures that all materials,

suppliers, and manufacturing partners meet quality standards, regulatory requirements,

and operational needs. This position works closely with Procurement, R&D, Production, and

Regulatory teams to secure reliable supply, maintain product quality, and support efficient,

compliant product development and manufacturing.

Quality Assurance & Production Alignment

Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of QA processes across product

development, scale-up, and commercial production.

Ensure raw materials, packaging components, and finished goods meet quality, safety,

and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with Production and R&D to evaluate prototypes, conduct product stability

reviews, and confirm manufacturing feasibility.

Coordinate quality checks, product inspections, and corrective actions (CAPA) with

internal teams and external manufacturers.

Support audits of manufacturing partners to ensure adherence to GMP, HACCP, ISO, or

other relevant quality standards.

Supplier & Procurement Management

Identify, assess, and qualify suppliers and manufacturers based on technical

capabilities, quality performance, and cost competitiveness.

Work with Procurement to negotiate supply terms, evaluate quotations, and ensure

suppliers meet operational and technical specifications.

Maintain supplier performance reviews and implement improvement plans where

needed.

Facilitate cross-functional communication between suppliers, Procurement, QA, and

Production to ensure smooth execution of sourcing and manufacturing plans.

Verify documentation such as COAs, specifications, MSDS, and quality agreements.

Regulatory, Safety, and Documentation Support

Coordinate with Regulatory and R&D teams to ensure that materials, formulations, and

production processes comply with applicable regulations.

Ensure that product claims, ingredient lists, and labels adhere to regulatory guidelines

and reflect approved specifications.

Support documentation requirements for product registration, safety testing, and

manufacturing approval processes.

Maintain accurate QA and supplier-related records, technical documentation, and audit

reports.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with R&D to align specifications, technical requirements, and trial outcomes

with supplier and production capabilities.

Partner with Production teams to troubleshoot quality or material-related issues and

ensure readiness for scale-up or mass production.

Provide technical input during NPD planning to ensure quality, feasibility, and supply

continuity.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Business, or related fields.

58 years of experience in QA, Procurement, or Supply Chain within FMCG, personal

care, healthcare, or food & beverage.

Strong knowledge of QA systems, GMP, HACCP, ISO, and supplier qualification

processes.

Experience collaborating with R&D, Production, and Regulatory teams.

Strong negotiation, documentation, and supplier management skills.

Ability to interpret technical specifications, safety data, and regulatory requirements.
