Quality Assurance Analyst

●     Prepare, Execute and Document test scripts and results in bug tracking software system.

●     Track open system bugs and follow them through to resolution.

●    Execute testing at multiple stages of SDLC such as functional testing, regression testing, integration testing and performance testing to determine and improve the test coverage of the system.

●     Deliver regular reports identifying bugs to developers and other engineering team members to resolve issues and improve system performance.

●     Raise concerns early about any quality related issues or improvements that can facilitate a high quality product entering UAT / Production.

●   Audit and enforce key testing parameters related to SDLC project milestones, documentation and testing standards.

●    Install and set up test databases and backup test applications to prevent errors and protect against data loss.

●      Experience in test automation on SIT level across different system modules is an advantage.

QUALIFICATIONS:

●      Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree / Post-Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Engineering (Computer / Telecommunication), Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.

●      At least 2 - 3 year(s) of work experience in the related field is required for this position.

●      Programming skills - highly desirable for development and extension of automated tests running on Selenium.

●      Attention to detail - Accuracy and attention to detail.

●      Problem-solving skills - Ability to find and report bugs and create fixes for them and experience with defect tracking tools such as Bugnet, Mantis and Bugzilla.

●      Analytical skills - Sharp analytical abilities, problem-solving techniques, proven design skills and track record of delivery.

●      Project management skills - Capable of dealing with a rapid schedule and constantly evolving business environment. Able to multitask and work prioritised, good time management and ability to work under pressure.

●      Accountability - Take pride in accountability, ownership of outstanding issues, and establish a high level of credibility with others in an organisation.

●      Language Proficiency – Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

[Salary Range: RM5000 to RM7000]
