ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and analyze business and functional requirements to develop relevant and comprehensive automated test casesmainly focusing on API.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of QA methodologies, various testing types and the overall software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Assist in the design, development and maintenance of automated build systems, tools and scripts to support continuous testing and delivery.
- Implement and continuously improve CI pipelines, ensuring seamless integration of automated testing and deployment processes.
- Perform QA activities including estimation, test planning and design, test execution, defect reporting and results analysis specific to automation testing
- Lead and mentor QA team members, providing guidance on best practices, technical skills and fostering a culture of quality and collaboration.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
- Strong scripting and programming skills in languages such as .Net, C#, Java, JavaScript.
- Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
- Practical experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g.,Newman, Postman, Selenium, Katalon Studio).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with log analysis (e.g., Kibana, Graylog).
- Experience in build automation and CI/CD pipeline implementation and maintenance (e.g., Azure DevOps, Pipeline).
- Transact-SQL programming.
- Experience in Fintech industry.
- Knowledge of compliance will be an added advantage.
- Understanding of security-based testing.
- Commitment to delivery, flexible and worked in a multinational environment.
- Strong analytical / trouble shooting skills.
- Reliable and able to work independently.
