QA Engineer

Employment Type: Full-time

We're looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. You'll design test strategies, build automation, and work closely with engineering to catch issues early and raise the bar on product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, document, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium).
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across releases.
• Log, track, and verify bug fixes using issue-tracking tools (Jira or similar).
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives as part of an Agile team.
• Contribute to and help maintain CI/CD test pipelines.
• Perform basic API testing (Postman) and assist with performance/load testing as needed.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of experience in software QA, manual and automated testing.
• Experience writing clear test plans, test cases, and bug reports.
• Hands-on experience with at least one automation tool/framework (Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar).
• Basic scripting ability (JavaScript, Python, or Java) for test automation.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience testing both web (Vue) and mobile (Flutter) applications.
• Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, k6).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into pipelines.
• Basic SQL skills for data validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
