Role Summary

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer with strong knowledge of networking protocols and test automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating networking features, ensuring product quality, and supporting automation and containerized test environments in a fast-paced setup.

Key Responsibilities

Design, execute, and maintain test cases for networking features

Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing

Validate and troubleshoot Layer 2 networking protocols

Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python

Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and work closely with development teams

Execute testing in containerized and Kubernetes-based environments

Ensure test coverage, documentation, and adherence to quality standards

Technical Skills & Requirements

Strong understanding of Layer 2 Networking Protocols, including:

VLAN

QoS

Multicast

DHCP

PPPoE

IEEE 802.1X

RADIUS

CFM

ERPS

xSTP (RSTP / MSTP)

LLDP

LACP

ANCP

Experience in Python-based test automation

Working knowledge of containers (Docker or similar)

Exposure to Kubernetes environments

Experience testing networking or telecom products is highly desirable

Preferred Skills

Strong analytical and debugging skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Good communication and documentation abilities
