Requirements & Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any related field, or a Diploma with 2 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing or similar role is required for this position.
- Familiarity with manual and automated testing methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies, test case design, and execution.
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies and SDLC.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferably knowledge on ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, PCIDSS, ISO 31000, ISO/IEC 27005, or ISMS.
- Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages for test automation (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) is a plus.
- ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent entry-level certification.
- Experience in fuel retail or POS industries.
Responsibilities
- Execute test cases for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Document test results, log defects, and track their resolution.
- Responsible for documentation of software issues, requirements, test plans, and test suites.
- Perform different testing strategies including regression, functional, and user acceptance tests on all software products.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency.
- Conduct manual testing efforts where automation is not feasible
- Work with product managers and developers to understand requirements and validate solutions.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, offering insights into test progress and potential risks.
- Communicate the delivery status of individual tickets to the team lead.
- Contribute to the enhancement of testing processes and quality standards.
- Assist in maintaining test environments and relevant documentation.
