Job Summary
We are looking for a Junior QA Engineer to support quality assurance activities across web andAPI-basedapplications.Thisroleissuitableforfreshgraduatesorcandidateswithupto 2 years of experience who are keen to builda strong foundationin software testing, automation, and basic performance testing. You will execute manual tests, contribute to test planning and documentation, develop automated tests usingJavaScript-based frameworks, and supportstress/load testing activitiesunder guidance.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and execute test cases for web applications and APIs (functional, regression, smoke, exploratory).
- Log, track, andvalidatedefects; ensure fixes meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to clarify requirements.
- Develop andmaintainautomated test scripts using JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Playwright) and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
- Support performance and stress testing using tools like K6 or JMeter; analyze results andidentifysystem bottlenecks.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies, QAsign-offs, and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Requirements
- Fresh graduate are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with working experience in QA/software testing will give added advantages.
- Basic understanding of SDLC/STLC, test concepts (test case design, defect lifecycle, regression testing).
- Hands-on experience in manual testing and test automation (JavaScript preferred).
- Familiarity with webconcepts: HTTP/HTTPS, sessions/cookies, RESTAPIs or any other performance/stress testing concepts and tools.
- Basic knowledge ofobservability and monitoring tools(e.g., Grafana, Kibana), including the ability to review logs and system metrics during testing.
- Basic understanding ofSQL for data validationand verification of test results.
- Familiarity withGit and CI/CD toolssuch as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
