Quality Assurance Inspector

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct routine and unscheduled surveillance of aircraft undergoing base maintenance (e.g. , C-checks, structural inspections, modifications).
2. Monitor ongoing maintenance activities to ensure compliance with approved maintenance data and company procedures.
3. Observe critical and safety-sensitive tasks to ensure proper execution.
4. Verify that maintenance practices meet quality and airworthiness standards.
5. Ensure maintenance activities comply with applicable aviation authority regulations (e.g., Part 145 requirements).
6. Raise non-conformances reports (NCR) for observed deviations.
7. Document surveillance findings clearly and objectively.
8. Coordinate with Operations and relevant departments for corrective action.
9. Follow up to verify implementation and effectiveness if corrective actions.
10. Ensure aircraft airworthiness is not compromised during maintenance activities.
11. Identify potential risks or unsafe practices and take appropriate action.
12. Promote a strong quality and safety culture within the maintenance environment.
13. Escalate significant quality or safety concerns to the Director, Quality.
