Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning
- Develop long-term quality strategies, objectives and policies aligned with business goals.
Quality System Framework & Process Improvement
- Build a culture of quality and test-first thinking across organisation
- Establish, maintain and improve Quality System Framework, documentation and procedures
- Optimising software development lifecycles, focusing on continuous improvement, automation and best practices
- Establish common testing tools and processes
- Establishing scalable test automation and performance testing systems
- Metrics & Reporting - Establish defect tracking, reporting and management, Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) like defect / bug rates and coverable
- Oversee project test planning, execution and reporting
- Driving operational metrics for test coverage, velocity and reliability
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, mentor, and lead QA in MR DIY ecosystem - Internally managed and vendor managed platforms.
Risk Management & Improvement
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, while implementing corrective and preventative actions to reduce defects.
Product Quality & Delivery Execution
- Work with stakeholders, project team and Product Owner to plan delivery and remove blockers.
- Ensure quality of deliverables - integrations, SIT, VAPT and performance testing.
- Oversee testing, inspect products, and approve final quality documentation for release.
- Work closely with product and project teams to ensure timely, stable delivery of releases.
Stakeholder and team collaboration
- Act as a bridge between teams: Collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders from various departments, such as IT, marketing, sales, and design, to align on goals and execution.
- Manage stakeholder relationships: Keep stakeholders informed and gather their feedback to ensure the platform meets their needs.
- Foster collaboration: Encourage a collaborative and performance-driven culture within the team and across the organization.
- Platform adoption: Ensure the solution / platform is understood, used properly, and delivers benefits
Job Qualifications:
- 6 to 10 years of QA/ QC experience, and solid hands-on testing capability
- In-depth technical understanding of quality standards and testing methodologies (automation, CI/CD)
- Strong knowledge in software QA methodologies, tools, processes (e.g. Selenium, Jira, Meagle, Agile frameworks) and quality metrics
- Experience with compliance, risk, or security testing protocols
- People leadership capabilities
- Strong problem-solving and technical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills, and is able to translate complex technical matters into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
- Strong ownership mentality, with a bias for delivery and continuous improvement
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and provide structure, direction, and clarity to the team
- Practical conflict-resolution skills and the ability to align diverse viewpoints towards a common solution
