With strong manufacturing capabilities and an expanding presence in countries such as Singapore, the United States, Vietnam, and the Philippines, the company has established itself as a reliable player in the FMCG industry.

Job Description

  • Responsible in planning and managing the QA Team.
  • Plan and supervise the QA/QC team on daily inspection at Incoming Quality Control, Process Quality Control and Final Quality Control.
  • Accomplishes quality assurance objectives by monitoring, reviewing, and enforcing policies and procedures to meet the company's Quality Objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with Food Act, other related Acts, regulations, and standards, recommending improvements where necessary.
  • Ensure compliance of all ISO standards of the Company including but not limited to, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, HACCP and GMP.
  • Conduct internal audits, supplier audits and any other audit activities as defined in the QMS.
  • Participate in customer audits and follow up on corrective or preventive actions.
  • Responsible for the inspection and handling of raw materials, semi-finished and finished products and disposition of defective and reject products.
  • Maintains and improves product quality by completing product, company, system, and compliance audits.
  • Review, develop and maintain a systematic approach for SOPs, records and product specifications to enhance quality efficiency and performance at plant.
  • Trains and motivates employees to ensure that quality standards are met.
  • Cooperate with different departments to improve business operations.
  • Assists in the recruiting process.
  • Perform other related job duties and projects assigned by the Management.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must familiar in English & Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is added advantage
  • Candidate must possess at least Certificate in Diploma /Advance/ Higher, bachelor's degree in chemistry/ food science/ food technology or equivalent
  • At least 5 years proven working experience in similar capacity in manufacturing sector preferably in food industry.
  • Knowledge of FSSC 22000, GMP, HACCP and Halal Standards.
  • Good leadership, strong interpersonal skill, strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Able to express ideas clearly, both oral and written
  • Required Skill(s): Computer Literate, Microsoft word, excel, power point etc.

Location: Gelang Patah, Johor

Salary Range: Up to RM8.5k
