About the Role
We're hiring aQuality Assurance Engineer (Manual + Automation)to help ensure the reliability and performance of Malaysia's next-generation credit platform.
In the credit industry, trust and accuracy are paramount. As a QA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our platform works seamlessly by validating portal functionality, user journeys, and complex product workflows before they are released to users.
You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers to understand feature requirements and ensure they are implemented accurately and perform consistently across the platform.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design and executetest plans, test cases, and test scenariosfor web portal features and product workflows.
- Performmanual testingto validate new features, UI behaviour, and user journeys across the platform.
- Develop and maintainautomated teststo improve regression coverage and release confidence.
- TestAPI integrations and backend responseswhere necessary to support feature validation.
- Understand product requirements andanalyze user flows to identify edge cases and potential issues.
- Identify, document, and track bugs clearly, working closely with Engineering teams to resolve them.
- Participate insprint planning, backlog grooming, and release cyclesto ensure quality is considered throughout development.
- Continuously improvetesting processes, documentation, and automation coverage.
What We're Looking For
- 35 years of experiencein Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
- Strong experience inmanual testing for web applications.
- Hands-on experience intest automation frameworks(e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar).
- Experience testingAPIs using tools such as Postman or similar.
- Strong understanding oftest case design, bug reporting, and QA best practices.
- Ability to understandcomplex workflows and product logic.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Design teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience testingdata-heavy platforms or fintech applications.
- Familiarity withSQL for basic data validation.
- Experience working infintech, banking, or regulated environments.
- Experience integrating automation tests intoCI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity withbug tracking and project management toolssuch as Linear, Jira, or similar.
