Role Description This full-time, on-site Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer role is based in Greater Kuala Lumpur. The role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining QA/QC procedures to ensure that electromechanical construction works meet industry standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements. The engineer conducts inspections and tests on materials, equipment, and completed work, documents non-conformities, and coordinates corrective and preventive actions with project teams. Daily tasks include reviewing technical drawings and specifications, preparing quality reports, supporting internal and external audits, and collaborating with engineering, construction, and safety teams to drive continuous improvement. The role may also involve training site personnel on quality standards, participating in project reviews, and supporting handover documentation for data center and related projects.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Control and Inspection, including applying inspection procedures and documenting findings.
- Candidates should possess solid Quality Assurance and Quality Management skills to develop, implement, and improve quality systems and processes.
- Candidates should possess experience in Quality Auditing, including planning and executing internal audits and supporting external audits.
- Relevant engineering degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field; professional certifications in quality or ISO standards are an advantage.
- Experience in construction, electromechanical, or data center projects, with familiarity in relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and competence in using QA/QC tools and reporting software.
- Effective communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams on-site, and readiness
