Quality Engineer ensures that all internal and external quality standard requirements are met by setting inspection procedures, identifying non-conformities and finding improvement opportunities before products reach customers.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Set up product measurement methods, characteristics, and tolerances to meet quality requirements for in-process and finished products.
- Audit processes and product measurements and assess Quality Control Inspectors competency to ensure effective quality control.
- Analyse deviations and defects, report findings, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure product quality is maintained during process changes or new product development.
- Manage calibration needs and ensure proper standards are available for accurate results.
- Train and guide Quality Auditors on measurement and auditing methods.
- Supervise Quality Auditors to improve scheduling and performance.
- Monitor compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards and report non-conformances.
- Investigate customer complaints, validate claims, and escalate when necessary.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline, preferably in Engineering or Wood Technology
- Minimum 5 years of related experience in quality assurance and manufacturing environmentb.

- Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
