Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain and continuously improve the laboratory's Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with accreditation requirements.
  • Lead internal audits, manage non-conformances, and oversee corrective/preventive actions.
  • Coordinate management reviews and follow up on action plans.
  • Oversee document control, quality records, and the control of test/calibration data.
  • Act as the liaison with accreditation bodies during assessments and audits.
  • Support training, competency assessment, and continual improvement initiatives
  • Handle customers & global internal audit.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a scientific discipline Chemistry, microbiology or any science related study
  • Minimum 35 years experience in a laboratory setting, with at least 2 years managing a quality system under ISO/IEC 17025.
  • Proven knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements.
  • Experience conducting internal audits and managing external audits.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in QMS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certification in internal auditing or quality management (e.g., ISO 17025 Internal Auditor, ASQ CQA) is a plus.
