Quality Monitoring - Manager

The quality monitoring team is responsibility for designing and implementing a monitoring process designed to provide the firm with reasonable assurance that the policies and procedures relating to the system of quality management in the respective service lines are relevant, adequate, and operating effectively.

Job Responsibilities:

As the Manager of Quality Monitoring team, the Candidate will be responsible to assist the Quality Monitoring Leader in execution of:

• Design and implement quality monitoring policies and procedures

• Identifying deficiencies in the firm's system of quality management and engagement files

• Evaluating identified deficiencies

• Communicating identified deficiencies and remedial actions to relevant personnel

• Liaise with Quality Management Team in providing sufficient and appropriate training on identified deficiencies and remedial actions to the firm's personnel.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Candidate must possess professional memberships ACCA/ICAEW/CPA

• Able to perform independent review of financial audit engagement files (hot review/cold review) and financial statements

• Have a sense of judgment, analytical skills, verbal communication skills, written communication skills and powers of persuasion

• Have a thorough understanding of International Standards of Auditing and International Standard of Quality Management 1 and 2, including its application and other explanatory material, to understand its objective and to apply its requirements properly

• At least 5 years working experience in the related field

• Able to work independently and as well as a team member.
