Job Responsibilities
- Conduct in-process and final inspections of electronic assemblies and components using various testing equipment and methodologies.
- Perform visual inspections for defects, ensuring adherence to IPC standards and company specifications.
- Execute functional and electrical tests on products, interpreting test results and identifying non-conformances.
- Document inspection and test results accurately and completely, maintaining detailed records.
- Identify, isolate, and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate corrective actions.
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of quality issues and customer complaints.
- Calibrate and maintain test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to improve product quality and process efficiency.
- Participate in internal audits and support external quality audits as required.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Job Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role, preferably within an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards and practices.
- Proficient in using various measurement and test equipment (e.g., multimeter, oscilloscope, calipers).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) is a plus.Technician
