Job Description

Job Summary

1. Perform ISIR measurement and complete measurement report as per committed timeline.

• To perform inspection and measurement according to PQA & drawing specifications and provide report within committed timeline.
• To ensure proper safekeeping of initial sample.

2. Perform Initial Sample safe keeping at fixed location, properly label & update database accordingly.

3. Provide measurement support, analysis & measurement report when required.

4. Participate in measurement alignments with suppliers whenever necessary.

5. Support incoming inspection according to inspection plan. Monitor closely on open lot status & release lot on same day.

6. To prepare, operate and maintain laboratory equipment for measurement, testing and trouble shooting.

• To ensure the equipment in laboratory are well maintained, calibrated and in good working condition.

7. Conduct Cgk and MSA studies for QMM measuring and test equipment.

8. Seek superior assistance/ direction if any special non-conformity found.

9. Maintain good 7S at workplace & QMM8 laboratory.

10. To complete Ad-hoc task/project assigned by the superior.

Core Competencies

Able to use measuring equipment (eg. CMM, Vision System, hardness tester, roughness tester, roundness tester, tensile strength machine, caliper, micrometer, profile projector, multi-meter & etc) as well as metrology, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.

Qualifications

• Formal Education-Diploma in Mechanical/ Electronics Engineering discipline from a recognized institution/ college or professional institution.
• A minimum of 2 years experience in the quality field will be an added advantage.
• Able to interpret & understand the technical drawing & measurement requirement.
• Able to understand product inspection plan and product test plan.
• Able to use GIS to check drawing and ANDI.
• Able to use BGN to check for SOP.
• Possess quality knowledge such as QC 7 tools.
• Well versed in using Standard PC software.
• Ability to interpret data and propose for alternative solution.
