We are seeking skilled and driven Quantity Surveyors / Contract Executive (and Senior) & Contract Manager to join top-tier firms specialising in various fields, including:
- High-Rise / Landed property Construction: Condominium, Hospital, Semi-D
- Infrastructure: Highway, railway, water treatment plant
- Foundation work: Piling, substructure, geotechnical
- M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) projects:Data center
- Consultant firm
Job Scope may include:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects, including initial estimates and final costs. Provide accurate advice on cost and procurement strategy throughout the project life cycle.
- Manage the tender process, including preparation of bills of quantities, reviewing contractor bids, and negotiating contracts. Work closely with clients and contractors to ensure cost efficiency.
- Prepares bill of quantities (BoQ) involving quantity take-off, material sourcing, and estimating material and labour costs for tendering.
- Administer contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed-upon terms. Manage any variations or changes to the project scope and evaluate the financial impact.
- Conduct interim valuations and prepare progress payments for contractors and subcontractors. Ensure accurate valuations of completed work for payment certification.
- Provide post-contract cost control and management, including final accounts preparation, settlement of claims, and cost reconciliation.
Skills and experience required:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Able to work independently in office, on site, and visit clients for meeting.
- Good analytic and negotiation skills.
