Monitor and administer main contracts and sub-contracts, including progress reports, payment recommendations, variation orders and final accounts.
Verify material requisitions, take-off quantities and site measurements for completed works.
Prepare progress claims, invoices and related submissions to clients and consultants.
Prepare, call and evaluate tenders for new projects including assessment of variation orders.
Negotiate building and material costs with subcontractors and suppliers.
Handle claims from consultants and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
Minimum 2 years QS experience in the construction industry; senior role may be offered to more experienced candidates.
Good knowledge in quantity take-off, site measurement, cost estimation, tender preparation, claim evaluation, variation orders and final account settlement.
