Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – Plumbing Construction

About Us:
Sungold Construction Sdn. Bhd. is a growing MEP contracting company in Malaysia, specializing in plumbing works for commercial, residential, and industrial projects. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team and support our plumbing division in line with Malaysia’s water rectification industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates, BOQ (Bill of Quantities), and tender documents for plumbing construction projects.
- Evaluate and analyze project drawings and specifications.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and variations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct site measurements, prepare progress claims, and verify subcontractor claims.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure accurate documentation and cost control.
- Support project managers with procurement, contract administration, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, project requirements, and Malaysian water industry regulations.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably in plumbing or MEP works.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of construction contracts, tendering, and cost management.
- Familiarity with water supply standards and Malaysia’s Water Services Industry Act will be an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QS-related software.
- Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
