Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Job Overview:
The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all cost-related aspects of construction projects from initial estimation to final account settlement. The role requires strong commercial awareness to ensure projects are delivered within budget while maintaining contractual and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions for construction projects
- Manage procurement processes including sourcing, evaluation, and negotiation with subcontractors and suppliers
- Prepare and review bills of quantities (BQ) and tender documents
- Monitor project costs and track variations, claims, and contractual changes
- Conduct site valuation, progress claims, and interim payment assessments
- Liaise closely with project managers, engineers, consultants, and clients
- Prepare and submit final accounts upon project completion
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide value engineering input
- Assist in resolving contractual disputes and claims
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or equivalent
- Minimum 2–5 years of QS experience (main contractor experience preferred)
- Experience in building, industrial, or infrastructure projects is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., PAM / PWD / FIDIC)
- Good understanding of cost control, estimation, and measurement techniques
- Proficient in MS Office and QS software (e.g., AutoCAD, CostX, or similar)
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
- Able to work independently and in a fast-paced project environment
