Our client is a well-established company within the healthcare/pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, currently seeking a R&D Manager to lead formulation, analytical, and process development activities for pharmaceutical and OTC products.
About The Job
- Lead formulation development, process development, scale-up, and technology transfer activities from concept to commercialization.
- Oversee analytical method development, validation, stability studies, and product registration support.
- Manage pilot batch production, process optimization, and lifecycle management activities.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the technical services team.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders including QA, Operations, Production, and external manufacturers.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across technical and laboratory operations.
About The Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Biochemistry, or related science discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience within pharmaceutical, healthcare, or OTC manufacturing environments.
- Strong experience in formulation development, analytical development, and process scale-up.
- Good understanding of pharmaceutical cGMP and regulatory requirements.
- Proven project management and team leadership experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
