Summary:
Reporting to the Research Scientist Product Development and workingattheHershey Malaysia Sdn Bhd, theResearch Assistantpositionsupports project work with plenty of guidance and direction. A successful candidate has knowledge of how to manufacture a wide portfolio of products and to run the associated lab and pilot plant equipment. This candidate has knowledge of how manufacture core products and to run the associated lab and pilot plant equipment and demonstrates basic cross-functional communication and communication focused to R&D Manager/Research Scientist Product Development
Specific Role Focus Area:(what is this person doing)
- Support benchtop development
- Support pilot plant testing
- Equipment assembly and preparation
- Support in-plant initiatives such as trials, sales sample production, and start-ups
- Perform data entry, basic calculations, computer applications, and organoleptic evalulations
- Partner with R&D Team on planning and execution

- Pilot plant operations
