Position Title: R&D cum Quality Controller Assistant
Snapshot Of The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail oriented
R&D cum Quality Control Assistant to oversee the implementation of quality, biosecurity, and food safety standards across our poultry operations. This role ensures that all processes comply with regulatory requirements and internal standards, contributing to safe, high quality poultry production and efficient operations.
You Are Driven To
- Monitor and enforce compliance with veterinary, food safety, and farm biosecurity standards (e.g., MeSTI, Halal, Good Veterinary Practices).
- Conduct routine inspections on process flow
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, and audit records for regulatory and certification requirements.
- Perform environmental and hygiene testing, including microbial swabs, pH tests, water quality checks, and equipment sanitation verification.
- Monitor and validate Critical Control Points (CCPs) across farm processes.
- Support traceability, mock recall activities, and non conformance investigations.
- Liaise with production teams to ensure daily farm processes meet quality and safety standards.
- Assist with monitoring mortality trends, feed conversion ratios (FCR), growth performance, and overall animal welfare.
- Conduct internal staff training on farm hygiene, food safety, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare QA/QC reports, audit summaries, and continuous improvement recommendations.
- Participate in brain storming and execution of R&D projects
- Other tasks assigned by superior from time to time
What You'll Need To Succeed
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Microbiology, Biotechnology, industrial chemistry or related fields.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; internship experience in QA/QC or food production is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of food safety systems, internal audits, and regulatory documentation.
- Strong skills in report writing, critical thinking, communication, and time management.
- Able to work in a farm environment and conduct routine field inspections.
