This Position reports to:
R&D Team ManagerABB's Process Automation business area enables customers to operate some of the world's largest and most complex industrial infrastructures, helping them outrun - leaner and cleaner.
We deliver automation, electrification, and digital solutions across process, hybrid, and maritime industries through advanced industrial software, distributed control systems, quality control solutions, and analytics technologies that accelerate digital transformation and operational excellence.
In this role, we are looking for an R&D Engineer - System 800xA & Quality Control System (QCS) to join our Process Industries Digital Organization. You will contribute to the validation, testing, and lifecycle support of ABB System 800xA and Quality Control System (QCS) solutions, ensuring high-quality, reliable, and secure industrial automation software for the Pulp & Paper industry.
Working as part of a collaborative Agile engineering team, you will develop and execute comprehensive validation strategies, perform end-to-end system integration testing, and collaborate with Product Management, Development, Commissioning, and global R&D teams to deliver robust automation solutions while driving continuous quality improvements.
This role is contributing to the Process Industries - System 800xA & QCS Research & Development organization in Bangalore, India.
