A leading company in the food ingredients and seasoning solutions industry is seeking a Product Innovation Executive to support ongoing R&D initiatives within its Research and Development team. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in food science and hands-on formulation experience.
About The Job
- Execute R&D and product development projects in accordance with established timelines and objectives.
- Develop new seasoning formulations and enhance existing products based on customer requirements and market trends.
- Prepare, maintain, and update all technical documentation, including analytical methods, recipes, ingredient lists, nutritional information, and project status reports.
- Conduct laboratory-scale trials, prototype preparation, sensory evaluations, and stability studies.
- Define, document, and validate process specifications for lab and pilot-scale activities.
- Improve formulations and processes to improve product quality, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.
- Support raw material evaluation, quality assessment, and supplier qualification activities.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, HACCP, and Halal standards within all R&D-related work.
- Monitor industry developments, new technologies, and ingredient trends relevant to seasoning development.
requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in the food industry, preferably within seasoning, flavouring, or ingredient development.
- Strong formulation and laboratory skills with exposure to prototype creation and product testing.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Conscientious, organised, and capable of managing multiple development tasks concurrently.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across R&D, QA, Production, and Commercial functions.
- Familiarity with ISO, GMP, HACCP, and Halal requirements is advantageous.
