R&D Hardware Project Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage engineering programs and R&D projects to achieve deliverables on time, within scope, and budget.
• Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria with Product Planner. Then develop detailed project plans and schedules.
• Drive strategic planning across global counterparts and internal teams.
• Manage risk identification and mitigation plans, including scenario planning.
• Coordinate with Product Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, and ODM/EMS suppliers.
• Facilitate design reviews, technical workshops, and root-cause analysis sessions.
• Act as the single point of contact for technical topics with cross functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality metrics.
• Utilize Six Sigma and Agile methodologies for continuous improvement.
• Monitor and control performance metrics, proactively addressing issues.

Qualification:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree or University Degree or equivalent.
• Electrical & Electronics degree is preferred
• Typically 8+ years relevant experience for entry to this level. Postgraduate and/or certification/ license may be required.
• Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in job.
