Job Summary
The R&D Hardware and Software Project Manager is responsible for leading the development of integrated hardware and software systems, coordinating cross-functional engineering teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to technical requirements. This role bridges system architecture, hardware design, firmware/software development, testing, and product deployment, ensuring successful end-to-end product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead execution of R&D projects, including identifying of risks, dependencies, mitigation strategies, and timelines.
- Translate research concepts into structured, feasible deliverables
- Acts as a technical bridge between RF systems, optimization algorithms, and software pipelines.
- Drive milestone development with clear deliverables and ownership (PIC tracking).
- Ensure alignment between experimental work and deployment objectives to meet project requirements.
- Coordinate system integration, including software/hardware components, data pipelines, and required resources.
- Improve engineering workflow, development processes, and overall execution efficiency
- Enforce R&D experiments reproducibility and traceability of experiments
- Monitor system and AI/ML model performance, identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements
- Maintain concise project technical documentations.
- Explore and learn the usage of hardware/software tools used in the projects.
- Act as a technical co-pilot to accelerate development progress using tool such as Jira or technique such as SMART to facilitate sprint planning/task prioritization to handle project management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
