R2R UAT Lead / Analyst – SAP S/4HANA

Role Purpose

The R2R UAT Lead / Analyst is responsible for executing and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Record-to-Report (R2R) processes as part of an SAP S/4HANA transformation program. This role ensures that financial processes are thoroughly tested, defects are effectively managed, and the solution meets business requirements prior to go-live.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios for Record-to-Report processes, including:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Costing
• Intercompany
• Fixed Assets (FA)
• Financial Close
• Perform hands-on execution of approved UAT test cases in accordance with the testing plan
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects; support issue resolution in collaboration with functional and technical teams
• Ensure end-to-end R2R process readiness and support successful completion of UAT exit criteria and formal sign-off
• Monitor UAT progress and provide timely, accurate status updates to project leadership, highlighting risks, issues, and blockers
• Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and the UAT project team to ensure alignment and delivery of testing objectives
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by management from time to time

Qualifications & Criteria

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or CIMA is preferred
• 5+ years of experience in Record-to-Report (R2R) with hands-on UAT execution
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance modules, including:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Fixed Assets (FA)
• Costing
• Intercompany
• Financial Close
• Prior experience in SAP S/4HANA or ECC to S/4HANA transformation programs
• Proven experience in UAT defect management and test execution
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently under tight timelines in a project environment
