Role Description The Radiographer is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with clinical protocols and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing patients for imaging, operating radiographic equipment, positioning patients correctly, and ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. The role also involves maintaining equipment, adhering to radiation safety guidelines, documenting procedures, and collaborating with physicians and other clinical staff to support timely patient care. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Klinik Hayat 24 Jam in Taman Kosas, requiring consistent presence to support round-the-clock services.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated competency in radiographic techniques and safe operation of imaging equipment (e.g., X-ray, basic imaging modalities).
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety principles and infection control practices, with careful attention to patient and staff protection.
  • Ability to provide clear instructions and compassionate support to patients of diverse backgrounds, including those in urgent or stressful situations.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff in a fast-paced clinical setting.
  • Recognized professional qualification or diploma in Radiography or Medical Imaging, with current registration or licensing as required by local regulations.
  • Prior experience in a clinic, hospital, or urgent care setting is highly beneficial; experience in 24-hour or high-volume environments is an advantage.
  • Basic proficiency in using electronic medical record systems and documenting imaging procedures accurately and promptly.
  • Commitment to continuous learning, adherence to clinical guidelines, and maintaining high ethical and professional standards.
