React Js Developer

About the role

HCL Technologies Malaysia SDN BHD is seeking a motivated and talented React Developer to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals.

What you'll be doing

• Design and develop high-performance, reusable React components
• Develop or integrate third-party software components in coordination with other IT teams, adhering to the technical architecture guidelines (performance and quality considerations)
• Implement user interface features using React and related libraries such as Redux, React Router, and Axios
• Write efficient, well-structured, and testable code
• Perform unit and integration testing
• Take part in cross-functional acceptance testing and performance testing
• Support operations during user testing phases
• Configure applications as needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Support business teams in data extraction, updates, configurations, tool implementation, etc.
• Ensure day-to-day operational monitoring of assigned applications
• Provide continuous improvement and maintain up-to-date documentation and test datasets
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in React.js development

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's or master degree in information technology engineering, or eventually project management field.

• 6+ years of proven experience with React, Typescript, Java script.

• Strong understanding of React core concepts, such as state management, lifecycle methods, and component-based architecture

• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

• Experience with Python/Django development is added advantage.

• Experience with state management libraries like Redux or Context API

• Familiarity with modern front-end tools and workflows, such as Webpack, Babel, and Git

• Experience with RESTful API integration and data fetching techniques

• Familiarity with DataStage, Power BI and SQL server

• Solid experience in developing applications in a banking environment, including requirements analysis, implementation, and user support.

• Proven track record in defining technical solutions compatible with existing systems, designing user-friendly interfaces and optimizing databases to meet business needs.

• Strong team spirit and ability to work cross-functionally in multicultural environments

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• The ideal candidate will also possess knowledge of financial market operations.
