Responsibilities: - Reducing app startup time and improving frame rates across core user journeys. - Diagnosing and eliminating memory leaks, UI jank, and battery drain across a diverse device matrix. - Building responsive, reliable offline experiences that feel native and fast regardless of network conditions. - Owning performance benchmarks and leading device compatibility testing across. Requirements: - 3-6 years of mobile development with a track record of shipping high-quality production apps on Android and/or iOS. - Strong React Native experience combined with expertise in writing native bridges (Java / Kotlin / Objective-C / Swift). - Deep understanding of mobile performance, startup time, render performance, memory footprint, and battery efficiency. - Experience building smooth, responsive offline experiences with robust local data handling. - Solid testing discipline, specifically around performance regression and device-level profiling. - Experience in profiling and optimising apps using Xcode Instruments, Android Profiler, or similar tools. - Familiarity with native C++ integration within mobile environments. - Experience shipping apps across a wide range of low-to-mid-range Android devices.
