Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a React Native Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications using React Native (Expo). You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly mobile experiences.
This role offers an opportunity to contribute to end-to-end mobile development, improve application performance, and shape the overall user experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native & Expo
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver new features
- Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable mobile components
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services
- Manage asynchronous server state using TanStack Query
- Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and stability
- Debug and resolve UI, functional, and production issues across Android and iOS
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making
- Contribute to engineering best practices, CI/CD, and release workflows
- Stay updated with modern React Native and Expo ecosystem trends
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in mobile application development
- Strong experience with React Native and TypeScript/JavaScript
- Strong understanding of Expo ecosystem (EAS Build, EAS Update, Expo Modules)
- Experience with TanStack Query and modern state management solutions
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous data
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills
- Good understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and responsive design
- Experience publishing apps to App Store / Google Play is a plus
- Familiarity with native iOS/Android development is an advantage
- Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred
