We are hiring a Real Estate Assistant Manager to take full ownership of our retail leasing lifecycle. If you have a sharp commercial instinct, 5+ years of experience in securing spotting ideal property site for F&B or retail sector; lease contract management, and the drive to work independently, this is your next career move.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Estate Management, Business, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in Property Leasing experience preferably within the F&B, Retail or Hospitality sector with aggressive store expansion targets. Proven expertise in handling Lease Renewals and tenant retention is highly essential for this role.
- Candidates should demonstrate a strong understanding of retail mall operations, stand alone, and site selection across Malaysia (West & East).
- Operational Independence: Ability to work with minimal supervision. You should be comfortable managing your own schedule, resolving site issues independently, and driving projects to completion.
- Negotiation Skills: A strong commercial instinct with the ability to negotiate complex lease terms and rental reversions to achieve the best possible outcomes for the business.
- Mobility: Must possess a valid driving license and own transport. This role requires frequent travel for site inspections and stakeholder meetings across the region.
- The Vibe: A professional, organized, and resilient individual who can keep up with a high-growth environment while remaining approachable and collaborative.
- Own personal vehicle and willing to travel extensively.
Job Role:
- Drive the Portfolio: You'll lead our retail leasing lifecycle—scouting the next big location, handling the paperwork, and getting us the keys.
- Renewal Lead: You'll stay on top of our lease expiry calendar. You will independently negotiate renewals and rental rates to keep our best spots secured with the landlords.
- Eyes on the Ground: You won't just rely on data. You'll be on-site, checking out locations and keeping an eye on what's happening in the market.
- Real Decision Making: You'll run your own market research and look at the numbers. When you propose a deal, you'll have the facts to back it up.
- Stakeholder Point Person: You'll be the main contact for landlords and lawyers. You'll manage your own workflow and make sure every agreement is signed and sealed on time.
