Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and driven professional with experience in Record to Report (R2R) processes. The ideal candidate will bring 2 to 4 years of relevant experience and demonstrate strong analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Process all general ledger journals, both those supplied by client and those created in the SSC; understand and understand/challenge before input
Liaison with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury and update GL Manager on progress at regular intervals during the month
Liaise with country Finance team on GL issues
Assist the GL Manager on all reporting issues.
Operation Excellence
Sound Operations management experience (including SLA management);
Client interaction skill
Ensuring quality assurance
Understand the customer and internal performance requirements of the processes delivered by the delivery location (as documented in the relevant process SIPOC)
Understand process input and output requirements and take continuous and pro-active steps to monitor and control them as appropriate to meet performance and customer requirements
Ensure high degree of compliance to the documented processes delivered such as adhering to the defined Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) and Local Work Instructions (LWIs) as appropriate
Problem Solving
Experience in managing unstructured problems
Proactive in solving issues and clearing balance sheet open items.
Project Management
Attendance to meeting and reviews based on defined MOS system;
Facilitate on the hiring, development, coaching and training.
People developer, build up team succession and keep the delivery continuously;
Client communication, build up the relation and expectation management;
Innovation at work, and focus on client value creation;
Take ownership
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2 to 4 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, specifically in Record to Report (R2R).
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply as well.
Proven ability to handle general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, month-end/year-end closing, and financial reporting.
Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel is preferred.
