Job Description

Currie & Brown is looking for an in-house recruiter for the Global Support Hub to be based in Malaysia.

The successful candidate will support the recruitment team and key hiring managers on day-to-day recruitment activity. He/She should be highly experienced in head hunting, sourcing, selecting, negotiating and recruiting outstanding technical and non-technical candidates.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring compliance with internal recruitment policy and procedures
  • Prioritising and understanding recruitment needs in Malaysia.
  • Liaising with hiring managers, understanding their technical and criteria requirements to successfully find the right people for the job
  • Partnering with hiring managers and seeking appropriate levels of approval from senior management throughout the recruitment process
  • Evaluating skill levels and sourcing appropriate candidates through internal database searches, staff referrals, job postings, social media networking, selected recruitment agencies, etc
  • Maintaining internal candidate database including running regular candidate status updates
  • Managing candidate progress and liaising directly with candidates to provide relevant feedback and updates
  • Negotiating and proceeding to issue offers, offer acceptance/decline reporting
  • Provide recruitment statistics to line manager and senior stakeholders
  • Role reports into the Group head of recruitment

Requirements:

  • A minimum of three years recruiting experience, with a proven track record as a successful recruiter
  • Preferred experience in recruiting internally for a construction consulting company, specializing in functions such as IT, finance, marketing, bids, HR, and administration
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate efficiency, understand company needs, prioritize workload and work under pressure
  • Ability to demonstrate professional integrity, discretion and confidentiality at all times
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office packages
