We are seeking an experienced and resourceful Recruiter who can independently manage full-cycle recruitmentfrom understanding hiring needs, sourcing candidates, screening talent, guiding hiring managers, facilitating interviews, extending offers, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
Beyond recruitment, this role will provide support across other HR functions where required, making it ideal for someone who is hands-on, proactive, and eager to contribute to wider people operations.
You will play a critical role in shaping our company culture by bringing in the right talent and delivering a seamless candidate and employee experience.
Job Description
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce planning and role requirements
- Develop job descriptions, job postings, and sourcing strategies for multiple positions concurrently
- Source candidates via multiple channels: LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, referrals, talent communities, social media, and networking
- Conduct resume screenings, initial interviews, assessments, and shortlist presentation
- Coordinate and schedule hiring manager and panel interviews
- Conduct reference checks and facilitate offer negotiation
- Maintain timely, clear communication to ensure positive candidate experience
- Track recruitment metrics and report weekly hiring progress
- Prepare employment contracts, offers, onboarding packs, and HR documentation
- Coordinate pre-arrival logistics (IT setup, access cards, work tools, etc.)
- Organise and facilitate new hire orientation
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure seamless onboarding and integration
- Follow up with new hires during probation to support engagement and retention
- Maintain HR records, employee files, and internal databases
- Assist with leave management, attendance, payroll preparation support (where needed)
- Support employee engagement initiatives, events, and internal communications
- Participate in reviewing HR policies and SOP improvements
- Assist in probation, appraisal, or disciplinary processes as required
- Support ad-hoc HR projects related to talent development, culture, and HR compliance
Requirement
- Minimum 24 years experience in full-cycle recruitment (in-house or agency)
- Demonstrated ability to hire across multiple job families (corporate, technical, operations preferred)
- Strong interviewing skills with familiarity in competency-based and behavioural assessments
- Solid understanding of Malaysian employment market, recruitment tools, and HR procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities, hiring requests, and deadlines independently
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to partner effectively with hiring managers
- Exposure to onboarding and HR administration preferred
- High degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards
- Fast learner with initiative and strong problem-solving skills
