This role is responsible for driving the growth and performance of the Malaysia Agency Team through strategic recruitment, onboarding, and productivity management. The position focuses on expanding total agency headcount, improving new agent activation and retention, and accelerating early productivity, including Financing Agent Program outcomes. Through close partnership with agency leaders, the role ensures sustainable manpower growth and strong business contribution.
Position Responsibilities:
Own and grow total Agency headcount through disciplined manpower planning, recruitment execution, and net growth management.
Lead agency recruitment strategy and delivery, ensuring a strong pipeline of quality new agents aligned to business growth priorities.
Drive new agent activation by improving early engagement and readiness, with clear focus on 3-90 days and 6-90 days acti vation milestones.
Strengthen new agent retention, particularly within the first 3-6 months, by partnering closely with agency leaders on onboarding, coaching, and support interventions.
Improve new agent productivity, including excellent agent production and participation/performance in the Financing Agent Program, contributing directly to the overall performance of the Malaysia Agency Team.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 8-10 years of experience in agency distribution, recruitment, sales management, or manpower development, preferably within financial services or insurance.
Proven track record in driving agency headcount growth, recruitment outcomes, and new agent activation and retention.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering senior agency leaders to influence performance and productivity outcomes.
Analytical and results‑driven, with the ability to track recruitment and productivity metrics and translate insights into actionable strategies.
