Developing a sales development strategy for the Asia/APAC region.
Negotiating with distributors, importers, chain retailers, and wholesale clients; conducting presentations; and introducing new projects based on company objectives. (Main markets: Malaysia, Thailand, Japan)
Negotiating export contracts, placing and managing orders
Developing a product mix for each sales channel, considering the specifics and consumer culture of the population
Coordinating and approving necessary documentation and packaging stickers for product deliveries. (Turkey & Malaysia)
Optimizing delivery and logistics options for distributors and importers.
Conducting forecast planning for production (Turkey & Malaysia).
Monitoring and analyzing sales, payments, and accounts receivable of distributors/importers.
Planning and implementing promotional events
Document management and reporting.
Requirements:
At least 5-8 years of experience in a similar position (with successful case studies).
From 5 years of knowledge of sales fundamentals, sales technology, and the specifics and characteristics of FMCG sales.
Familiarity with the specifics of working with the Malaysia and export markets in the region.
Ability to assess competitors and identify strengths and weaknesses.
Experience negotiating with top distributor executives and key regional networks (persuasion skills, objection handling skills, and relationship building skills).
Ability to quickly navigate numbers and large volumes of information.
Experience calculating cost efficiency and budgeting.
Experience in successful sales in foreign markets.
Confident PC user.
Fluent English is the must. (knowledge of other foreign languages is a plus).
