We are representing a globally recognized leader in the manufacturing industry in their confidential search for a Regional Financial Controller. This is a newly created, high-impact role based in the vibrant hub of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive financial leadership and oversight for the APAC region.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
- Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with local statutory requirements.
- Deliver timely, accurate, and insightful management reporting and analysis to global HQ.
- Partner with commercial and operational teams to evaluate business cases, pricing strategies, and CAPEX investments.
- Lead and develop a high-performing regional finance team.
- Oversee tax, treasury, and audit activities for the region.
The Ideal Candidate (You) Possesses:
- A recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA, CIMA).
- 12+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a Controllership or Financial Control leadership role within a multinational corporation.
- Proven experience in a complex, manufacturing, engineering, or capital-intensive industrial environment.
- A track record of success in a regional (APAC) scope is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
