Prism Consulting Group is partnering with a leading multinational consumer products organization to appoint a Regional Chief Information Officer (CIO) for its international business. The role in based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
This is a high-impact executive leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the organization's technology strategy across multiple international markets. The successful candidate will drive digital transformation, enterprise modernization, cybersecurity, data and analytics, and technology-enabled business growth while partnering closely with the executive leadership team.
The role offers the opportunity to influence enterprise-wide transformation, modernize core business platforms, and build a scalable technology organization supporting continued international expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a multi-year technology strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
- Lead enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives across multiple countries( ASEAN and MENA)
- Drive ERP modernization, business process harmonization, and enterprise platform transformation.
- Build a strong cybersecurity framework, governance model, and enterprise resilience capabilities.
- Establish a modern data and analytics ecosystem to support business insights and decision-making.
- Simplify the technology landscape while improving operational efficiency, service reliability, and scalability.
- Partner with executive stakeholders to position technology as a strategic business enabler.
- Lead geographically dispersed technology teams and build high-performing leadership capability.
- Manage strategic technology vendors, investment priorities, and enterprise technology governance.
What You'll Bring
- Extensive senior leadership experience in enterprise technology, ideally as a CIO or equivalent executive.
- Proven track record leading large-scale business transformation and digital modernization programmes.
- Strong experience delivering ERP transformation initiatives, including SAP S/4HANA or similar enterprise platforms.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity, IT governance, enterprise architecture, and technology risk management.
- Experience building enterprise data, analytics, and digital capabilities.
- Success leading technology organizations across multiple countries in APAC within a matrixed global environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate business strategy into technology outcomes.
- Outstanding stakeholder management, influencing, and executive communication skills.
- Experience within FMCG, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, Retail, or other consumer-facing industries will be highly regarded.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. A postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) is advantageous.
