Job Description:
Strategy, Experimentation & Performance
- Develop and execute AI-driven SEO content experiments, including prompting frameworks, content structures, and publishing strategies.
- Conduct keyword research, search intent analysis, and keyword gap analysis to identify scalable content opportunities.
- Track and analyse content performance (traffic, rankings, engagement, AI visibility) and translate insights into actionable improvements.
- Support and lead SEO/GEO initiatives and regional content experiments across markets.
- Maintain content trackers and reporting systems, and prepare regular performance reports.
Content Ideation & Execution
- Plan and manage SEO content calendars based on trends, search demand, and business priorities.
- Produce, edit, and publish AI-assisted and human-written content (articles, category pages, other website landing pages).
- Optimise on-page SEO elements, including meta tags, internal linking, and structured content formats (e.g. FAQs, comparisons).
- Manage content workflows and ensure quality across writers and contributors.
Collaboration & Mentorship
- Collaborate with regional and local teams to align SEO content with campaigns and category priorities.
- Guide and mentor writers and interns, ensuring consistency in SEO and editorial standards.
- Support the creation and distribution of the department newsletter to communicate key updates, initiatives, and persona features.
Requirements:
- Minimally 1 year of experience in SEO content or digital content strategy for websites, blogs, or product/category pages.
- Strong writing, editing, and grammar skills, with the ability to factor in cultural nuances and adapt content to local contexts
- Hands-on experience with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude) for content creation and optimisation.
- Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals (search intent, keyword research, on-page SEO).
- Experience with SEO and analytics tools (e.g. Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Keywords Planner).
- Strong data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyse performance and improve content outcomes.
- Comfortable working in experimentation-driven environments with rapid iteration.
- Able to work independently and take ownership of projects with minimal supervision.
- Experience managing content workflows and mentoring junior contributors is a plus.
