Ansell is looking for a Regional Demand Planner to join our team in Cyberjaya!

In this position you will be responsible responsible for the oversight and management for Regional Planning for assigned portfolio for the assigned region. In this capacity, you will be responsible for the creation of a volume/value rolling 18 months integrated set of forecasts consisting of an unconstrained demand plan, a shipment plan, a constrained revenue recognition plan, and resultant inventory plans. This role provides clear reconciliations to financial forecasts and reference points such as prior year.

What your role will be

1.Support Drives and leads the Regional Planning process within the Global Supply Chain by managing all related processes, flow of information, resource and stakeholder relations to support customer service level targets. This includes:

  • Drive the Demand Review Sign-off, NPD and Opportunities meetings with Sales and Marketing by leveraging inputs including but not limited to sales forecasts, sales opportunities, supply committed plan, and point of sale.
  • Connect with L3 SBU via demand/supply reviews.
  • Provide demand input for the annual product sales plan within the budgeting process
  • Tracking changes and plan accuracy and striving for the improvement of information quality and flow with clear bridges and root causes
  • Provide guidance to commercial on the onboarding of new opportunities

2.Work with Global Supply on new business and end of life transitions outside of EOL descriptions

3.Optimize inventory levels in region to balance service and cost, and remain within budget targets

  • Manage inventory relative position for all FGs under assigned products/regions.
  • Prevent E&O through active avoidance of new excess and depletion of E&O inventory
  • Request expedited supply through initiating fast track shipments by air or courier where needed to resolve back order situations while strictly managing cost at all times
  • Provide product availability, lead-time enquiries and intra-region allocation management to commercial stakeholders.
  • Proactively communicate cross functional teams with information on shortages and availability including root cause, corrective action and recovery for product shortages and delays, including anticipation of future constrained situations through the CBO (customer back order) reporting, OTIF reporting (external & internal), STP (ship to promise) and other relevant reports

4.Actively participates in the product rationalization process (phase-in/phase-out) from a Demand Planning and Regional execution perspective.

5. You will be a great communicator, able to deal with various levels of commercial team and key point of contact for all other regional stakeholders: Customer Service, Marketing, Sales, Warehouse & Logistics, Quality & Procurement, Master Data Management (MDM) and Finance. Be a change agent and drive continuous improvement.

6.Any other activities at the request of the Regional Planning Leadership

  • Bachelor's degree in a supply chain, engineering or business-related field
  • 3 years supply chain experience in a best practice dynamic in FMCG / Healthcare / Pharmaceutical company.
  • Planning experience beyond Demand / S&OP / Inventory Planning in a regional scope
