Overview
The AMEA Head of PESO Planning is the regional owner and steward of PESO (Paid, Earned, Shared, Owned) strategy and a key driver of the client team's end-to-end process across AMEA.
This role exists to ensure PESO is not treated as a framework, a channel lens, or a planning artifact but as the operating system that connects strategy to execution across Plan, Create, Activate, and Measure.
Acting as the connective tissue across planning, production, social & influencer, connected commerce, media, and measurement, this role ensures Brand Engagement Architectures are designed for scale, built for execution, and optimized for outcomes, with no dead ends for consumers or shoppers.

PESO Strategy & Regional Leadership
- Own and lead the AMEA PESO planning vision, aligned to clients global PESO strategy, Brand Worlds, and One Demand frameworks.
- Ensure PESO strategies translate into fully integrated Brand Engagement Architectures across the consumer journey connecting Paid, Earned, Shared, and Owned touchpoints seamlessly.
- Act as the senior regional authority on PESO in client conversations, planning forums, and leadership discussions.
- Ensure PESO is embedded as a way of thinking and operating, not a presentation layer.
Process Leadership & Orchestration
- Serve as a regional steward of the end-to-end process, ensuring PESO planning is embedded across Plan, Create, Activate, and Measure.
Ensure PESO Planning Outputs Directly Shape And Inform
- Integrated Agency Briefs (IAT)
- Campaign Ecosystem Design
- Pre-Production Blueprints
- PESO Implementation Plans
- Connect upstream planning decisions to downstream execution, aligning audiences, creative ecosystems, production requirements, commerce activation, and media delivery into one continuous flow.
- Partner closely with AMEA Leads to embed PESO into operating rhythms, governance, and transformation pilots.
- Champion no dead ends thinking, ensuring ideas are designed for real-world execution, scale, and optimization.
Market & Brand Maturity Enablement
- Define and deploy a PESO maturity-based planning approach that enables brands and markets to activate PESO at the right depth and pace.
- Guide markets on which PESO levers to pull based on brand maturity, category dynamics, and consumer context.
- Balance raising the floor (baseline integrated ways of working) with raising the ceiling (advanced, orchestrated Brand World experiences).
- Ensure regional consistency without rigidity and local relevance without fragmentation.
Cross-Functional Integration
- Partner with Production leadership to ensure PESO planning informs upstream production decisions, including asset modularity, content volumes, transcreation needs, and reuse.
- Work closely with Social & Influencer teams to embed creator-first, culture-led thinking into PESO plans, ensuring Earned and Shared are designed, not appended.
- Collaborate with Connected Commerce teams to integrate retail media, DTC, and shopper experiences directly into PESO ecosystems.
- Align with Media, Data, and Performance leaders to ensure PESO plans are measurable, optimizable, and powered by Connected Identity.
- Ensure all capabilities are operating from shared artifacts, milestones, and outcomes
Governance, Frameworks & Capability Building
- Own the regional PESO planning framework, including playbooks, templates, best practices, and use cases.
- Codify and share learnings across the AMEA network to continuously raise planning quality.
- Lead PESO capability uplift through onboarding, training, and hands-on enablement.
- Reinforce PESO as an integrated mindset that shapes how teams brief, plan, and recommend solutions.
Performance, Measurement & Feedback Loop
- Define PESO success metrics in partnership with Data, Measurement, and Performance teams
- Ensure outcomes and learnings are consistently fed back into PESO frameworks, planning guidance, and future recommendations.
- Review PESO plans and results to identify patterns, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Champion continuous refinement of PESO planning based on performance, effectiveness, and consumer response.

Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in integrated planning, strategy, or marketing transformation roles.
- Deep understanding of Paid, Earned, Shared, and Owned ecosystems and how they work together.
- Proven experience driving regional or multi-market frameworks and capability uplift.
- Strong grounding in brand strategy, consumer journeys, and integrated communications planning.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across global, regional, and local teams.
- Experience working within matrixed, multi-capability agency environments.
- Confident client-facing leader with experience influencing senior stakeholders.
