Regional Finance Director
Our client is a leading global organization with a well-established manufacturing facility located in Penang. They are hiring for a Regional Finance Director that will oversee finance operations across Asia. This role is responsible for driving financial performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting business growth through effective financial planning and analysis. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with strong business acumen and a deep understanding of manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Regional Financial Strategy: Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives to support growth and profitability.
- Lead Financial Planning & Analysis: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to enable informed decision-making.
- Ensure Compliance & Risk Management: Maintain adherence to regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and implement robust internal controls.
- Optimize Operational Finance: Partner with manufacturing and supply chain teams to improve cost efficiency and operational performance.
- Manage Treasury & Cash Flow: Oversee liquidity, banking relationships, and currency risk to ensure financial stability.
- Build & Develop Finance Teams: Lead, mentor, and develop regional finance talent to foster a high-performance culture.
- Engage Stakeholders Effectively: Communicate financial insights and collaborate with senior leadership to align financial goals with business strategy.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 8 years in a leadership role within manufacturing or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements in Malaysia and the region.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
