Overview
This role serves as the financial backbone for regional operations across Southeast Asia, overseeing financial governance, reporting, and control for large-scale solar projects. The ideal candidate is a seasoned finance professional with listed company experience, adept at managing complex reporting structures and ensuring transparency and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Project Costing & Construction Finance
- Lead budgeting and cost tracking for utility-scale solar projects
- Forecast expenditures across procurement and construction phases
- Implement cost control frameworks and support investment reviews
- Cash flow & Treasury
- Manage multi-project cash flow forecasts and working capital needs
- Coordinate with banks on funding, guarantees, and FX hedging strategies
- Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Deliver monthly financials, project P&Ls, and cash flow dashboards
- Ensure statutory, tax, and audit compliance across jurisdictions
- Liaise with auditors on both project-level and corporate matters
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with project, procurement, and engineering teams to align financial strategy with execution
- Support regional finance leadership and present performance insights to senior stakeholders
Requirement
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA/ACCA preferred)
- 8+ years in financial management, reporting, and project finance
- Proven experience in construction finance and treasury operations
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
