Our client is a leading multinational FMCG company is seeking a dynamic Regional General Manager to oversee operations across a few countries. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth, market expansion, and operational excellence while ensuring compliance and fostering strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Shape and execute country-level sales strategies, ensuring alignment with regional objectives and identifying new growth opportunities.
  • Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales force, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Customer Engagement: Build trusted partnerships with key accounts, resolve issues swiftly, and drive long-term customer loyalty.
  • Performance Management: Monitor KPIs and market trends, deliver clear reporting to senior leadership, and refine strategies based on insights.
  • Business Expansion: Explore new market opportunities, lead entry initiatives, and collaborate with marketing to strengthen brand presence.
  • Financial Stewardship: Manage budgets responsibly, optimize resource allocation, and ensure profitability targets are met.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with regional and global teams to harmonize processes, share best practices, and achieve collective goals.
  • Governance & Compliance: Uphold company standards, regulatory requirements, and maintain accurate operational records.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in FMCG in Commercial, Sales, Business Development or Key Accounts
  • Proven track record in strategic thinking, market planning, and business development.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities across diverse markets.
  • Financial acumen with P&L and budget management experience.
  • Skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, and customer relationship management.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and results-driven in competitive environments.
